Happy New Year and welcome to 2015 – we hope it will be a very productive and creative year for you all.
We are delighted to announce that the Centre has been successful with its Arts Council of Wales funding bid for 2015-16, so we are beginning to plan this year’s schedule of events, courses and workshops. If anyone is interested in a specific technique or process please let us know and we will factor it into our planning.
Membership for 2015 is now due. If you would like to be a member, and use the studio during Open Access, please can you print, complete and return the our membership form along with your fee (£35.00 for the year). Membership forms are available from http://www.regionalprintcentre.co.uk/membership/. You can return your form in person or by post (please make cheques payable to Coleg Cambria). Members will qualify for discounts on a number of workshops throughout the year.
Open Access started up again on Tuesday 6th January 2015 and will continue on Tuesdays during term time (4:30-8:30pm). I am pleased to announce that Artist/Printmaker Sara Devoreux-Williams will be overseeing the sessions and is now a member of the Regional Print Centre team.
We are also in the process of organising further Open Access opportunities on Monday evenings (during term time (4:30-8:30pm)). These sessions will start on Monday 19th January 2015. The Monday night class has 10 participants so we now have the opportunity to run Open Access around it.
There will also be Extended Open Access on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th February 2015 (10:00am-4:00pm).
Please keep an eye on our website for the latest Open Access times/dates www.regionalprintcentre.co.uk
