This Spring, printmakers from The Regional Print Centre, Wrexham & Hot Bed Press, Salford, will be presenting new works at The Gallery at Bank Quay House in Warrington.
Entitled Artists’ Proof, this exhibition explores the diversity and skills of the two contemporary print studios, showcasing member’s current practice.
The Regional Print Centre is an artist focused organisation based at the print studio in Coleg Cambria, Wrexham and offers a variety of creative printmaking opportunities which includes open access, workshops, courses and demonstrations. A joint project, funded by Coleg Cambria and the Arts Council of Wales, the centre provides outstanding printmaking facilities and support for artists and designers within Wales and beyond with the aim to promote the medium of printmaking by creating diverse opportunities for people to expand their knowledge and skills.
Housed in a Victorian warehouse in Salford, Hot Bed Press is the largest open access print workshop in the region, providing specialist printmaking equipment and expertise in printmaking and book arts. The not-for-profit studio is dedicated to supporting anyone with an interest in printmaking, and in promoting printmaking to a wider audience through exhibitions, courses and other collaborative projects.
This free exhibition is open to all and runs from the 3 April until the 26 May. The gallery and its onsite coffee shop is open Mon-Fri 8.30-5 and Sat 9-3.
