The Regional Print Centre
The Regional Print Centre is an artist focused organisation based at the print studio in Coleg Cambria, Wrexham and offers a variety of creative printmaking opportunities which includes open access, workshops, courses, and demonstrations.
The centre’s main function is to facilitate open access to the print studio which allows anyone with printmaking experience the opportunity to use the facilities once they have become a Regional Print Centre member. The centre caters for traditional and non-traditional printmaking including monotype, etching, relief and screen printing.
The centre runs regular workshops and courses which are available to anyone, from complete beginners to more experienced printmakers. These offer a great opportunity to engage with and learn directly from a diverse range of professional print artists. The centre also coordinates specialist printmaking classes, lectures and demonstrations for art groups, schools, colleges and community groups.
The Regional Print Centre provides outstanding printmaking facilities and support for artists and designers within Wales and beyond with the aim to promote the medium of printmaking by creating diverse opportunities for people to expand their knowledge and skills.
The Regional Print Centre is a joint project funded by Coleg Cambria in Wrexham and the Arts Council of Wales.
