A one day symposium led by artists and printmakers discussing the role printmaking plays in their current practice

Speakers include:

  • Anne Desmet RA RE – Artist

Anne is an established artist and elected member of the Royal Academy of Arts (London). She specialises in wood engravings, linocuts and mixed media collages. She has had three major museum retrospectives to date, received over 30 international awards, and her work is in museum collections and publications worldwide.

  • Ian Phillips – Artist and linocut printmaker

Ian is one of Wales’s foremost linocut artists. He has exhibited widely in the UK and abroad over the last 10 years. In 2010 he was made a member of the Royal Cambrian Academy.

  • Michael Taylor – Paupers Press

Paupers Press is a London based fine art print and publishing studio that works with many leading contemporary artists, publishers and galleries. They have worked with artists such as; Damien Hirst, Paula Rego, Grayson Perry, Tracy Emin, and Jake & Dinos Chapman.
